Dr. Aliya Hot graduated SUNY College of Optometry in 2007 with two degrees; Doctor of Optometry and Master Degree in Glaucoma diagnosing and Visual Fields. Prior to graduation she had extensive experience, over 10 years, working with children with special needs. After graduation, Dr. Hot worked for two years in a Pediatric eye clinic in Corona Queens. In 2010, after having her son, Dr. Hot started working in a Brooklyn optical store with a patient population heavily predisposed to glaucoma and dry eye. In 2013 she opened her own clinic in East Harlem NY. In 2015 Dr. Hot opened a second office in Bronx. In her practice , she combines her experience working in different boroughs of NYC; having worked with different ethnic and social groups that present an array of different eye problems. Her experience working with children allows Dr. Hot to conduct pediatric eye exams efficiently fast and painless. Dr. Hot attended several courses and conferences on Dry Eye alone and is very comfortable treating all kinds of dry eye syndromes. Her Master's degree in Glaucoma makes her equally confident in diagnosing and treating glaucoma without having to refer patients to a specialist. Dr. Hot is fluent in Russian and Spanish.

Dr. K received his undergraduate degree in microbiology and immunology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and his Doctor of Optometry from the SUNY State College of Optometry in New York. He completed his internship training at Aran Ophthalmology in Miami, FL, and the VA Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. Dr. K went on to develop a training program and career plan for optometrists at the SalaUno Clinica Oftalmologia in Mexico City, Mexico. With 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. K continues to deliver the highest level of vision care and eye health.
